It's been five years since the initial release of Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS. The game received great critic review at the time and so the team decided to port the game as a high definition (HD) version for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 one year later in 2013.

In the trailer above you can see that Resident Evil: Revelations will get another port, this time to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which will be released as downloadable content in the online stores on August 29 for $19.99 USD. The new ports will feature:

a smoother 1920x1080 resolution, an improved framerate, increased environmental detail and refined creature movement.

The first two won't be new for PC players and there are so far no details showed on the a smoother "increased environmental detail and refined creature movement". Copcom has also not stated anything regarding differences for the Playstation Pro or Xbox One X.
